Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts are such an easy and delicious side dish. This recipe requires minimal hands on time, but gives you such a scrumptious reward.

Don’t tell child me, but I absolutely love Brussels sprouts now! There are so many delicious things you can do with them, but this simple side dish should be at the top of your list. With just a handful of ingredients, you can create a winner side. This is perfect for busy weeknights, but would totally work for a holiday table too.

How to Make Brussels Sprouts in the Air Fryer
Here is a brief overview of how this air fryer Brussels sprouts recipe comes together. For the full recipe including all measurements, scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
- Wash and trim the Brussels sprouts. While your air fryer is preheating, wash your sprouts, remove any wilted leaves, and trim just the end of the stem.
- Combine the sprouts with the oil and seasonings. Mix together the Brussels sprouts, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl so the sprouts are well coated.
- Air fry the Brussels sprouts. Place the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the sprouts are tender. Keep a close eye on them so they don’t get too crispy.
- Top with Parmesan cheese. Take the cooked Brussels sprouts out of the air fryer and toss with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!

Store any leftover Brussels sprouts in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat only the portion you plan to eat in the air fryer for a few minutes until heated through. Always use your best discretion when reheating and eating leftovers.

Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (if using table salt, start with half)
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a bowl mix together the Brussels sprouts, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes so the sprouts are well coated. 1 pound Brussels sprouts, 1 clove garlic, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Place the Brussels sprouts in the basket of the air fryer. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the sprouts are tender. Check on the sprouts halfway through the cook time to get an estimate of how long they will need. They can go from perfect to overly crisp very quickly. The goal is to get fork tender Brussels with a bit of crispiness on the outside.
- Remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer, adding more salt and/or pepper if desired after tasting. Then toss with the Parmesan cheese and enjoy. 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
