How to Make Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Here is a brief overview of how these Buffalo chicken sliders come together. Be sure to scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of the post for the full recipe, including all ingredients and their measurements.

Step 1: Cut the Rolls

Cut the slider rolls in half by placing your hand on top of the rolls and gently, using a serrated knife, cutting them in half to remove the tops from the bottoms.

Step 2: Make the Chicken Filling

In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, Buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, green onions, and garlic. Once well mixed, spread the chicken mixture on top of the first layer of shredded cheese.

Homemade Buffalo Sauce

Made with vinegar, a cayenne pepper-based hot sauce, and butter, homemade Buffalo sauce adds so much flavor to different recipes. It comes together quickly and is delicious in my Buffalo Chicken Pizza , Buffalo Chicken Wrap , and Buffalo Chicken Dip . The spicy Buffalo sauce is so yummy with the sweet Hawaiian rolls and savory chicken.

Storing and Reheating Leftovers

Store any leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat the portion you plan to eat in the oven or air fryer until heated through.
