This Mojito Sangria Recipe is so simple to make and tastes light and refreshing! When you just can’t choose between a mojito and a sangria, why not combine them both into an easy sangria recipe? A classic mojito recipe muddles sugar, lime juice and mint leaves in the bottom of a high ball glass before topping with white rum and club soda. This Mojito Sangria Recipe incorporates white wine with lime juice, fresh mint leaves and white rum. They combine together to make the most refreshing and delicious sangria recipe.

WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE USED IN THIS MOJITO SANGRIA RECIPE?

This easy sangria recipe magically turns into a mojito sangria with just a few simple ingredients:

  • Start with my simple syrup recipe. I made a huge batch of this and use it in dozens of different cocktails. It makes each drink sweet but not too sweet, smooth and so yummy!
  • Next you’ll need some good, fresh lime juice . I like using juice from limes, since I use wedges in this drink. But you could also use bottled lime juice if that’s what you have on hand.
  • Then, a cup or so of white rum . Any brand will work.
  • Sparkling white wine is next. Make sure it’s nice and chilled before mixing.
  • Use some fresh mint leaves and limes cut into wedges.
  • Finally you can serve it over some club soda if you wish, or even lemon lime soda for a sweeter flavor.

HOW TO MAKE MOJITO SANGRIA

There are just a few simple tips to whip together this easy sangria recipe; follow along and you’ll be partying in no time!

  • Start with muddling. Since muddling is such an important part of mojitos, start by mudding the mint leaves, simple syrup , and lime juice in a mixing glass. If you don’t have a muddler, use the end of a wooden spoon or ice cream scoop. Just gently muddle, no need to break apart the mint leaves.
  • Add the mint and lime mixture to a large pitcher. Since leaving the mint leaves in is a part of a mojito, we are going to leave them in this sangria.
  • Add in the wine and the rum. I used a white rum and a sparkling white wine. The white wine I used was a blend and a little bit of carbonation to it making it a perfect substitute for the club soda in a traditional mojito.
