Lately I’ve been totally obsessing over the yogurt and granola combo. But really, it’s been a classic forever in the form of yogurt parfaits. Simple layers of yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit come together to make a filling breakfast, snack, or dessert that you will adore.

Fruit and Yogurt Parfait Ingredients

Simple ingredients come together for yogurt parfait cups packed with smooth, creamy yogurt, crunchy granola, and juicy, colorful fruit. For the full recipe including all measurements, scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

  • Yogurt: A variety of yogurts can be used here, depending on your preference. If you prefer plain Greek yogurt, that is great in this recipe. I love to use vanilla yogurt for the extra pinch of sweetness. Greek yogurt would add more protein to the parfait, and they do make some great dairy-free yogurt options these days.
  • Granola: I’m pretty obsessed with my homemade granola recipe . It is very easy to make, makes nine cups, and lasts in the pantry for two weeks. That being said, use any granola recipe that you really love.
  • Fruit: I love the combination of blueberries and chopped strawberries. Other berries like raspberries and blackberries would also be delicious. Bananas, peaches, or any fruit that is in season can be added.
  • Honey: A drizzle of honey adds just a touch of sweetness. Maple syrup would also work well here!

Homemade Granola

I’m pretty obsessed with my homemade granola recipe . It is very easy to make, makes nine cups, and lasts in the pantry for two weeks. That being said, use any granola recipe that you really love. The crunchy texture and flavor are the perfect addition to a Greek yogurt parfait.

Making Ahead

I don’t recommend making your parfaits more than a day in advance. If you want to save some time, wash and chop your fruit, make the granola (if you are making it homemade), and store them in separate containers. Put the yogurt parfaits together when you are ready to eat.

If you are taking your fruit and yogurt parfait on the go, a mason jar with a lid works great!
